You’ve been asking, and we’ve listened! One of the most requested products over the last few years from our beloved customers has been for a Vinyl Silk version of our classic Flints Theatre Black Paint.
This water based vinyl silk is still highly pigmented, but has more durability than the standard, and has a soft silk finish.
The paint carries fire retardancy certification BS476 and comes in the same sturdy metal tin as our popular Flints Theatre Black! Coverage is approximately 12 m2 per litre
Important Note: Many of our customers are accustomed to repainting/layering Flints Theatre Black to retain the deep matt black finish with little surface preparation. However Flints Vinyl Silk requires proper preparation of the substrate in order for it to bond, by thoroughly cleaning and keying/sanding. This is especially important when painting floors. For a Black, Silk Matt Paint for floors that requires little preparation, why not try Coo-Var Black Floor Paint (PATCVFPB)?
