Useful as an economical method of securing mortise and tenon joints while the glue is drying.
These fixings are considerably faster than draw pegs although nothing beats the durability of tapered wooden pegs driven through offset holes. Regrettably draw pegged joints seem to be a dying art. I’ll shut up now.
